Rule by white people

Okada acknowledges past wrongs in Seoul - Observing Japan
I have different views about this problem with him, but today I don't want to write of them. I am interested in his view about what white people did or are doing now. He use easily universal proposition. When he uses the word, "the Japanese leaders", whom does he say about? Which PM of Japan did justify the colonization of Korea?
If he can consider a strange man's view as all Japanese people's view, I will be able to ask him, a white man, about the historical crimes caused by white people.
As the results of invasion and massacre, he was born in the USA. He speaks and writes his blog in English that is invaders' language, and makes some money through a job with using English. What does he think about this?
I don't want to justify the colonization of Korea. However this is our problem. What does he think about his sin?
Today, the Japanese people aren't in Korea as rulers. Should white people also leave away from "colony" like us? They don't spend enough to apologize to victims.
"Let him who is without sin cast the first stone."
Jesus said that so. What I want to say isn't "Don't throw a stone". What I want to say is that he should first pitch a stone to himself.

Low Birthrate Problem in Japan

In the Japanese society, we can find that innovation and conservatism live together. The Japanese people are innovative on technological matters. They don't jib at casting away unwanted technology. As the result, they are surrounded by the most advanced technology. However their mentality is essentially conservative. The Japanese people don't want to change the base of their society. The speed of social change is very slow.
This gave them the possibility that they could create new political change without disastrous revolution. However, today, this gives them a dilemma that the Japanese society can't get revolutionary changes in spite of the needs.
The Japanese Constitution provides the equality of gender and sex. The achieving isn't yet enough, but women can get rights more than they ever had been before.
As the result, it has become difficult to have many children in the Japanese society. Working women can't give birth of many children. Generally speaking, conservative politicians and voters think that the low birth rate problem is caused by women's selfishness.
"The reason why women give birth less than before is because they prefer hedonic consumption to having home life."
This is a typical view of the conservatives. Therefore, the Liberal Democratic Party which is a conservative political party in Japan, did nothing about the low birthrate problem. It was an administration party since 1955 until 2009, except 1993.
Conservative politicians still object to letting husbands and wives use different surnames. They can't accept that government gives bastard children the legal rights that are same with the rights of children born in wedlock. They think that such policy will break the cement of family. They ignore the fact that many bastard children are born, and the need that government must realize human equality.
As the result, in the Japanese society, it is very difficult for single mothers to have children, and to bring up children alone. There aren't enough public supports.
Japan will ruin because of such consevatism. Those who destroy Japan are conservative people.

President Obama's Bowing

Now it is already an old news, but I want to write about the bowing of President Obama.
He went to Japan in the November of 2009, and met with His Majesty of the Japanese Emperor. When he met with the Emperor, he showed the Emperor his deep bowing. This caused an intense political battle. Some people stood by Obama, "It is natural to bow when we meet with somebody in Japan. Is it a reprehensible behavior?"
Another people said that, "The Obama's attitude was very humbling. The US President should not do such an attitude to any people."
Sure, bowing is a general custom in the Japanese society. However it is very rare to watch such an action in diplomatic scenes. An important thing is that the Japanese people and the government don't want foreign diplomats to bow to our Emperor. We know that bowing is just a local custom. Even if foreigners don't bow to us, there is no problem. Actually, most of the national guests who came to Japan didn't bow to Emperor. To my knowledge, the diplomat who bowed to our Emperor was only Obama. His action didn't please us, because it caused an intense political battle. Emperor should be free from such a political battle under the Japanese constitution. We felt that Obama politically used our Emperor to break some political matters.
We have the international protocol of diplomacy not to cause such problems. The attitude by Obama wasn't suitable for the protocol.
He should know that diplomacy is more complex. He won't be able to get our respect by bowing. The Japanese people aren't so stupid.

About Me

Hello.
I am a Japanese man, living in Tokyo. I graduated from an University, and now I am an accountant. Kaz is my personal name.
I will write journals about Japan and the world in English, here. My English is not perfectly correct, but I want to write them in English.
The purposes - one is to brush up my English skill. Another one is to tell you a view of a Japanese man. There are many Japanese people on the web, but those who write in English are very few. I think that we should make efforts more to be understood by other nations. I hope this blog to be a help for the purpose.
However, I don't want to write journals in order to encourage the nationalism of my country. My purpose to write jounals is not to justify my country's political actions, but to tell you my true views. I will write the things that I really think that it is right. Not as a Japanese man, but as just a man. Of course, I may have ignorance and prejudice. I wish you point out them in discussions. I will welcome any comments - though spams won't be welcomed.
And I wish you correct my English.
Thank you.
