Okada acknowledges past wrongs in Seoul - Observing Japan
I have different views about this problem with him, but today I don't want to write of them. I am interested in his view about what white people did or are doing now. He use easily universal proposition. When he uses the word, "the Japanese leaders", whom does he say about? Which PM of Japan did justify the colonization of Korea?
If he can consider a strange man's view as all Japanese people's view, I will be able to ask him, a white man, about the historical crimes caused by white people.
As the results of invasion and massacre, he was born in the USA. He speaks and writes his blog in English that is invaders' language, and makes some money through a job with using English. What does he think about this?
I don't want to justify the colonization of Korea. However this is our problem. What does he think about his sin?
Today, the Japanese people aren't in Korea as rulers. Should white people also leave away from "colony" like us? They don't spend enough to apologize to victims.
"Let him who is without sin cast the first stone."
Jesus said that so. What I want to say isn't "Don't throw a stone". What I want to say is that he should first pitch a stone to himself.
